How net metering works
Your system exports surplus generation to the grid during the day and you receive credit against your consumption. You are credited in units, not cash. Approval typically takes six to twelve weeks depending on your DISCO.

We assess before we recommend. If solar is not going to give you the result you want — because of shading, structure, or how long you plan to stay — we will say so before you spend anything.
